Cyrus Rahimzadeh has over 15 years of experience working with organizations to design and develop new products and processes or resolve issues in their existing products and processes in order to delight their customers.
Areas of Expertise:
Mechanical machine design and development utilizing both off the shelf components and custom equipment as required to satisfy customer requirements. Cyrus has experience with several CAD packages including Solidworks, Catia, Unigraphics and AutoCad. Cyrus is also comfortable with utilizing 3D printing to shorten the design cycle and test new ideas. Cyrus has an expanding interest in the areas of Smart Manufacturing, Cyber Security and the Internet of Things.
Scope of Experience:
Cyrus has 17 years of experience of progressive engineering design in a diverse range of industries including, structural design and plant layout, blown film processing, automated packaging, high speed mail sorting, baggage handling, power distribution systems, industrial clutches and brakes, offshore oil & gas drilling equipment and testing of drive systems for rotorcraft.
Education and Training:
Cyrus received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and his Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington Texas. Cyrus continues to complete continuing education courses and attends conferences to both present information as well as to gather new information in order to stay abreast of current technologies.
