The score\, time remaining and number of downs all matter to the coaches\, the players\, and the fans. Likewise\, the metrics on the shop floor allow the employees to manage what needs to happen to be successful\, and they then can work together towards achieving it.  These metrics/KPIs will trigger desired behaviors\, guide the team’s focus\, and help sustain that momentum. Although the customers do not see the metrics\, they reap the benefits of improved on-time delivery\, quality\, and costs. \nThis course will explain: \n\nThe planning necessary for effective metrics\nCore metrics to improve shop floor productivity\, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)\, Takt Time\, Mean time between failure (MTBF)\, Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR)\, and on-time delivery (OTD)\nData gathering and reporting hygiene\nEffective methods to communicate and monitor the metrics\nSetting SMART goals to ensure success\nDriving continuous improvement using the Kata methodology\n\n
