SUMMARY:Webinar: Building a Resilient Supply Chain with SBA Capital Programs
DESCRIPTION:Access to capital is one of the biggest barriers to growth for small and medium-sized Texas manufacturers\, and understanding SBA funding strategies can make the difference between stalled operations and sustainable expansion. SBA programs offer flexible\, lower-risk financing options that support equipment purchases\, facility upgrades\, working capital needs\, technology adoption\, and recovery from supply chain disruptions. Many manufacturers are unaware of the range of programs available\, or how to position themselves to qualify\, making education on SBA lending\, guarantees\, and support tools essential for securing the resources needed to compete\, innovate\, and grow in the Texas manufacturing economy.

SUMMARY:Keeping Score on the Shop Floor
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nWhat gets measured gets managed. Have you ever watched a football game and not looked at the scoreboard? Of course not! The score\, time remaining and number of downs all matter to the coaches\, the players\, and the fans. Likewise\, the metrics on the shop floor allow the employees to manage what needs to happen to be successful\, and they then can work together towards achieving it.  These metrics/KPIs will trigger desired behaviors\, guide the team’s focus\, and help sustain that momentum. Although the customers do not see the metrics\, they reap the benefits of improved on-time delivery\, quality\, and costs. \nThis course will explain: \n\nThe planning necessary for effective metrics\nCore metrics to improve shop floor productivity\, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)\, Takt Time\, Mean time between failure (MTBF)\, Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR)\, and on-time delivery (OTD)\nData gathering and reporting hygiene\nEffective methods to communicate and monitor the metrics\nSetting SMART goals to ensure success\nDriving continuous improvement using the Kata methodology
