M. Ruben Hernandez has 14 years of experience as a Management Systems Implementer / Auditor and Lean Enterprise Trainer while working with TMAC.
Ruben also has 15 years management experience in operations in medical device companies. Prior to that, Ruben was a Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve.

Ruben is both an Implementer and Auditor in Quality Management Systems. He is a Lean Enterprise Trainer and Facilitator, and is a “Training Within Industry” (TWI) trainer in Job Methods, Job Instruction and Job Relations.
Scope of Experience:
Ruben has 16 years of experience working in all areas of production operations in medical device organizations. He has 14 years of experience as a Management System Implementer and Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and AS 9001. He has implemented Management Systems in over 30 organizations including those in aerospace, metal shops, electronics, plastic injection, distributors, printing / labeling and auto parts manufacturing. Ruben has served as an Examiner for the Texas Award for Performance Excellence (Baldridge based award) and a Shingo Examiner in coal mining, military aerospace repair and film production.
Education and Training:
Ruben received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Master of Business Administration from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He has taken Manufacturing Extension Partnership Train the Trainer classes and has completed ISO 9001 and AS 9100 Lead Auditor training, along with Lean Six Sigma training. In addition to these, Ruben is also a Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence as well as APICS certified.
