Charaee Tropp has over 20 years of technical, regulatory, and legislative experience in the areas of environment, health and safety, quality and energy. Since joining TMAC, Charaee has worked with a number of manufacturing companies, municipalities and universities on a variety of projects including the following: ISO 14000 Environmental, ISO 9000 Quality, OHSAS 18000 Health and Safety and ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems. She has a long history of providing OSHA required safety training, compliance assessments, waste management and permitting to organizations across the state.
She is currently a US Green Building LEED AP working on efforts in helping customers understand the positive value of LEED certified buildings to help reduce operation costs and environmental risks.
Areas of Expertise:
Charaee has expertise in assisting manufacturers and chemical waste management companies with multiple types of projects. Some of these projects have included: conducting compliance audits, maintaining indoor air quality programs, developing corrective action programs, conducting Phase I environmental site assessments, managing facility safety programs, implementing Department of Transportation / HAZMAT programs, and monitoring environmental, health and safety legislation.
She has over 15 years in the area of occupational, health and safety. Her experience includes auditing, delivery of outreach programs and developing safety systems including: OSHA topics (hazard communication, powered industrial trucks, blood borne pathogens, electrical, work place violence, machine guarding, etc.).
Scope of Experience:
Charaee has worked as a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, Senior Project Manager and as a private business owner. She has worked with TMAC for the last eight years to help organizations understand the cost savings associated of addressing all types of risk, compliance issues and opportunities to impact the bottom line.

Education and Training:
Charaee holds both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in Political Science from Texas Woman’s University. Her master’s thesis was entitled “Environmental Justice Re-Examined: Race, Ethnicity, Poverty, and Commercial Hazardous Waste Facilities in Texas.”

Charaee has received certification in the following areas: USGBC LEED AP, Certified GRI Sustainability Reporting, QAI Environmental Lead Auditor 14000, Lean 101, Certified CPR / First Aid Instructor, EPA Pollution Prevention training, authorized OSHA 10 hour and 30 hour trainer for general industry, Sustainability and Green training from Purdue University, OSHA Construction Industry training and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training.
